Kettering Archers Club is affiliated to the Grand National Archery Society and is part of Kettering Town Cricket and Sports Club

Our members shoot a range of diverse bows e.g. longbow, horsebow, flatbow, Olympic recurve, barebow and compound.
If you are new to archery or would like to join our club then please visit our ‘BEGINNERS’ page to discover about the sport, what equipment you need and how much it costs to start.

One of the joy’s of archery is that it is for everyone, that is everyone who wants to try. Men, women and children are able to shoot side by side, making it a true family and social activity. Whether you wish to shoot as an individual, as a couple or as a family, all ages are welcomed into the sport.

Now you may be thinking “I am not good enough” or “I am not strong enough”. With the technological developments that have been made in modern day equipment, it is now possible to shoot further than ever, with the minimum use of effort.

If you don’t wish to get caught up in all these technology advances and would just prefer to experience archery as so many men and women did at the turn of the century, then you don’t need to look far. Longbow archery is still very common and growing in popularity all the time.

During the Outdoor Season, the club holds both County Shoots and Club Competitions for it’s members.

All club outdoor shoots are held on Sunday mornings 10:00am at the Club’s Archery Field, at Kettering Town Cricket and Sports Club, Lake Avenue, Kettering
